The ACWB payments help Canadians manage their immediate expenses throughout the year in three installments, which begin in July, October, and January. So, based on the current FY, the ACWB recipients would receive the third installment in January 2025.

According to the ACWB payment rules, the ACWB recipients will receive their payment on 10 Jan 2025. ACWB Payments are typically made on the 10th of each quarterly month; however, the payment date may shift if the due date occurs on a weekend or public holiday.

ACWB January 2025 Payment Amount

Under the Canada Workers Benefit, eligible Canadians receive the basic CWB amount and disability supplement payment for individuals and families. The advance payment of CWB is 50% of the CWB as an ACWB payment, whereas if you are entitled to receive the disability supplement benefits, you may also receive half of the disability payment with ACWB payment.

The Canadians can calculate their advance payments based on the CWB payment they are eligible to receive. The CWB basic payout and disability supplements for eligible Canadians are as follows:

How would your income affect the ACWB payments?

The ACWB payments depend on the CWB payout which depends on the family adjusted net income. Canadians must know the income limit set for the CWB payments as above the limit, the recipients would no longer be eligible to receive the payments:

  • The adjusted net family income for the basic CWB amount is $28,494, above the income limit the payment will be reduced, whereas if the amount goes above $45,934, the payment will eventually stop.
  • Disability Supplement:
  • The individual singles who qualify for the CWB disability supplement can see a reduction in their payment if their adjusted income goes above $35,098, whereas if it crosses the $40,325 mark, it will stop the payment.
  • If the family’s adjusted net income exceeds $45,932, the disability benefit will be lowered.
  • When the spouse of the recipient receives the disability tax credit and the adjusted family net income exceeds the $51,159 income value they will not receive the disability supplement.
